YG Family Newsletter- November 17th, 2022
Dear friends and families of Yujin Gakuen:
This is our last full week in November. Next week, we will have three days of school and then no school during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Besides the holidays, there are a few notable things to look forward to: Monday will be our 50th day of the year, and Wednesday will be our spirit day; the theme will be cozy/stuffy day; we will be talking a lot about gratitude as we approach Thanksgiving.
I hope you all have a great weekend, and thank you for supporting Yujin Gakuen.🧤

YG Football Volunteer Request Hi YG families! It’s been a busy and profitable season at the UO Beverage Booth. The PTO has raised approximately $17,000 through serving at the games! Can you imagine how many other fundraisers our students would need to complete to match that? We have a dedicated, regular volunteer crew that come back year after year and work every game. We’re looking for new people to come join the fun, meet parents, and help support our wonderful kids. There is just one more game left this season, on November 19th! If you still need to get your OLCC permit, let us help you get started! We’re happy to walk anyone through the steps. After that, you don’t have to renew it for another 5 years. PTO will reimburse you for the class and permit costs. We can also help navigate the organized chaos of getting to the YG booth on game days. We know the OLCC class, plus game day volunteering, is a big time commitment. As of right now, we don’t have a way to get volunteers inside the stadium after kickoff. However, any amount of time is helpful! For example, those who have availability to set up don’t have to stay to clean up and vice versa. Please sign up below: November 19th game – https://volunteersignup.org/LQKK7 Thank you for your continued support. Best wishes, YG PTO |
Gratitude TreeYG recently decided to set up a gratitude tree. Students are writing what they are grateful for on the leaves and filling up the tree. |
