YG Family Newsletter- November 3, 2022
Dear friends and families of Yujin Gakuen:
It was an exciting start to the week with Halloween festivities on Monday. I hope you are recovering from the candy high. We are getting prepared for parent conferences next week. Remember that we will have only two days of school next week so students will enjoy a 5-day weekend. Monday will be a regular school day. Tuesday will also be a regular day for students, but teachers will be working late, until 8:00 PM, holding conferences. On Wednesday there will be no school for students while teachers work from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Thursday is a day off for teachers as compensation for working two evenings. Friday is a holiday for staff and students.
If you have not yet signed up for a conference, please be sure to check your teacher newsletter or contact your teacher directly to get directions on scheduling a conference for your child. 🕰️

YG Football Volunteer Request Hi YG families! It’s been a busy and profitable season at the UO Beverage Booth. The PTO has raised approximately $17,000 through serving at the games! Can you imagine how many other fundraisers our students would need to complete to match that? We have a dedicated, regular volunteer crew that come back year after year and work every game. We’re looking for new people to come join the fun, meet parents, and help support our wonderful kids. There are just two games left this season, on November 12th and 19th, so two more chances to have a blast supporting YG! If you still need to get your OLCC permit, let us help you get started! We’re happy to walk anyone through the steps. After that, you don’t have to renew it for another 5 years. PTO will reimburse you for the class and permit costs. We can also help navigate the organized chaos of getting to the YG booth on game days. We know the OLCC class, plus game day volunteering, is a big time commitment. As of right now, we don’t have a way to get volunteers inside the stadium after kickoff. However, any amount of time is helpful! For example, those who have availability to set up don’t have to stay to clean up and vice versa. Please sign up below: November 12th game – https://volunteersignup.org/EQJ49 November 19th game – https://volunteersignup.org/LQKK7 Thank you for your continued support. Best wishes, YG PTO |
